Before I send a message to you, Suri, first of all I would like to
thank God in heaven for His love and care, we could meet through our
language in this cassette so that you could listen to our language and
that it could support your study in the foreign land. It goes like
this: the people or the whole family from the Biak island, one by one
have heard about your study in England. It was about the Biak
language. So we, the elders from the Biak island, send a message to
you and to all our highly educated sons and daughters who own the Biak
island that you may become strong to take care and to teach our
language to our young children, if not our grandchildren will not
understand the Biak language. Then, they will forget the language or
they will lose it. If it is like that then they will speak foreign
languages only. Thus, we need to send the message about the Biak
language to them. So that they remember it. If not our language will
die or disappear. Therefore, the elders who have heard your needs to
(gather data about) Biak language were very excited. They thank you
and (pray that) God will bless your house. (God) also bless your wife
and children, and your work.  May God be with you day and
